Tiny Tummy Green Smoothie

Tiny Tummy Green Smoothie

I have a serious love-hate relationship with my tummy and let me explain to you why. It has about 10 different ways it wants to look and will never just stick to one. It also loves to play this really fun game with me that I love so much, you may have heard of it! The game goes like this: there is an event coming up that you want to look good for, all week you eat everything green in your sight preparing to look awesome and your tummy plays along just fine. The day of the event? It decides it wants to turn into this little pooch and thinks it is so adorable. It is not adorable. The pooch must go.Healthy foods although great for you do not play in your favor when it comes to bloating (quinoa, I am looking at you). I felt like I never knew what to eat the day of an event where I would be showing a little skin. This is when I discovered the tiny tummy smoothie.

I took everything in my fridge that I knew helped with de-bloating added some ice and blended it up. To my surprised it turned out absolutely delicious and refreshing, it also keeps you full until your event!I started with a banana. First, because every good smoothie on this earth has banana and second, they are high in potassium which keeps you full and regulates sodium levels (more sodium, more pooch). I then turned to cucumber because it is made up of almost all water which helps fight bloating. For the finishing touches I used a root of ginger because it is an anti-inflammatory and a digestive aid, coconut water, and Vital Proteins Marine Collagen (to make you extra pretty). The real mvp in this however is Apple Cider Vinegar. It is a straight rockstar for reducing bloating and will make you feel full all through out the day.Tiny Tummy Green Smoothie
