Mornings With Bullet Proof Coffee

What a happy, beautiful Monday. Unlike the rest of the world who has today off work, here I am, stuck at my desk – hip hip hooray. Mornings can be rough, we all have those days where we want to live in our covers and hide away from the world. Lucky me, this was one of those mornings.In these tough times where getting out of bed seems like the hardest thing one could ever do, there is one solution and one solution only: Coffee. Coffee is one magical thing. You can dress it up, dress it down, love it, drink it, slurp it, etc. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, it did. Coffee is GOOD FOR YOU! It speeds up your metabolism and gives you energy to have an active life style.
Forget the cream, sugar, or $5 Starbucks drinks, this kind of coffee changes your life. It is called Bullet Proof Coffee, enough said (except not because I have a blog that I am trying to write here). This coffee is packed with healthy fats which keeps you full for long periods of time, speeds up your metabolism, AND makes you leaner while promoting weight loss. - 12 oz organic coffee
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp ghee
or kerrigold unsalted grass fed butter
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon (I also like to add nutmeg)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract (or almond)
- 2 scoops Vital Proteins Marine Collagen

Method
- brew coffee as normal (my favorite way is french press) then pour it into the blender
- add the rest of the ingredients then blend until smooth
- top it off with a dash of cinnamon
